The finalists of the first startup competition had the opportunity to learn and adopt the experience of business mentors for implementation their business idea.
Chernihiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a co-founder and the President of CCI Kostyantyn Ivanov as a mentor of Chernihiv Business Hub team personally accompanied the preparation of the final selection of business ideas for the incubation program.
After 10 weeks of training 8 selected startups should present a detailed business plan developed with the help of Chernihiv businessmen and teachers of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”.
The program combined the efforts of government, business and European initiatives. Among the co-founders and members of the Supervisory Board of Chernihiv Business Hub are: Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Chernihiv Regional Council, Chernihiv Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”, the Regional Branch of the National Olympic Committee and Chernihiv Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund. The initiative came as a result of expert support from the European project EU4Business, which has been working in the region since 2018.
