The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has improved the universal procedure for certifying damage to or destruction of property.
On March 4, 2026, representatives of the system of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine took part in a coordination meeting on the documentation and assessment of damage suffered by legal entities as a result of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
The event brought together experts from the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and regional chambers who are directly involved in preparing the relevant documents.
“The Chamber is working on a more streamlined procedure for obtaining reports on the documentation of lost assets. A company or entrepreneur that has suffered destruction due to attacks must properly formalize the lost assets from a legal standpoint. This enables them to eventually receive compensation for lost or destroyed property and assets,” said Mykhailo Nepran, First Vice President of the UCCI, during the opening of the meeting.
