UCCI Expands Services for Recording and Assessing Damages Caused by russian aggression

Given the scale of destruction of production facilities, infrastructure, and real estate, and in order to ensure proper documentary evidence of losses for subsequent compensation under Ukrainian and international law, the Chamber has introduced a comprehensive package of new measures and services for businesses.

Within the framework of these services, UCCI offers affected enterprises a full range of expert support to ensure proper recording and evaluation of damages. The core services include:

• analysis and verification of primary documents confirming the damage;
• preparation of inspection acts documenting the condition of property and confirming damage/losses;
• issuance of certificates on the occurrence of force majeure circumstances;
• preparation of damage assessment reports in line with the methodologies of the Ministry of Economy/State Property Fund of Ukraine and/or international standards;
• calculation of lost profits for enterprises;
• preparation of the UCCI General Expert Opinion, which consolidates and verifies the entire document package, ensuring international recognition of submitted materials.

This package of documents (or its components) can be used for submission to state authorities, the Register of Damages in Ukraine (RD4U), as well as other international structures implementing compensation mechanisms through reparations and confiscated russian assets. In addition, the Chamber offers techno-economic studies to support strategic decision-making on the feasibility of restoring or reconstructing damaged facilities.
