We invite you to take part in the presentation of the project "Ukrainians at Rallye Monte-Carlo Classique" on the 12 of January at 12.00 am in the premises of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Velyka Zhytomyrska Str. 33, Kyiv.
For the first time in its history, the Ukrainian team on domestic retro cars takes part in the prestigious world rally Rallye Monte-Carlo Classique. The race will take place in France and Monaco from January 30 to February 2, 2022. The project has an image-building character for Ukraine and is intended to show the historical roots of the Ukrainian industrial and engineering potential, to raise the recognition of Ukraine in the world.
It is also a good opportunity to advertise Ukrainian and international brands in Ukraine and Europe. We invite companies - members of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to take part in the project.
Information about the project:
Rallye Monte-Carlo Classique has been held by the Monaco Automobile Club for 111 years. This year, for the first time in the history of this most prestigious retro cars competition, six Ukrainian crews obtained the licenses to participate. It took five years to do this. This year, the Ukrainian team will drive cars ZAZ 965, 965A, 966, 968 (1961 – 1972)
Organizers of the project: Revived Kiev Motorists' Club and Media Agency of Regional Initiatives.
The project is truly unifying for Ukraine - crews from five Ukrainian cities - Kyiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Zaporizhzhia - will take part in the race.
Rallye Monte-Carlo Classique is held under the patronage of the princely family of Monaco. Prince Albert of Monaco will take part in the awards ceremony.
Ari Vatanen, a legendary racer of all times, a four-time winner of the Paris-Dakar rally, a member of the European Parliament in two terms, a sincere friend of Ukraine, became the mentor of the Ukrainian team. Ari will meet with the Ukrainian team at the finish of the race in Monaco. He has already written a welcome letter for the Ukrainian team, which will be announced at the presentation of the project at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
It is planned to hold a "Ukrainian evening" for team members, partners, fans, representatives of embassies and guests of honor in France. Within the framework of the "Ukrainian Evening" there is an opportunity to receive a delegation from the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The project has already attracted the attention of Ukrainian and international media. During the race and preparation for it, it is planned to release stories, programs and reports in national and regional media, such as "Jidai" program of the 2+2 TV channel, a series of news stories on 1+1 TV channel, the 5th national channel, TRK "Ukraine", other national and regional TV channels, on the AvtoRIA website, other Internet resources and the print press.
From 19 to 23 January, the ceremonial seeing-off of the crews will take place in Kiyv, Lviv, Ternopil, Zaporizhzhia and Chernivtsi. Partners, government officials and the press will be invited to these events.
