The COVID-19 pandemic has caused international shortages of critical medical supplies all around the world.

On 24th of September, 2019, a comprehensive Grant Agreement was concluded between German organization "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH" and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine, which, inter alia, envisages the development of an operating model of activity and a standardized package of services for export consulting of Export support centers in the system of Chambers of Commerce in Ukraine, which requires the involvement of external experts.

The anti-crisis center specialists will consult business suffered from cyber attacks and help to prevent possible cyber threats in the future.

Iraqi businessmen are holding talks with an enterprise in Kyiv region on investing $15 million in poultry production during the Ukraine-Iraq Cooperation business forum.

Today Turkey officially handed Ukraine Chairmanship in BSEC – an organization of 12 Black Sea region countries which have united for intense cooperation in the area of the Black Sea. The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry also accepts Chairmanship in the BSEC Business Council for the next half-year. The President of the Ukrainian CCI, Gennadiy Chyzhykov, is actively participating in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of BSEC member-countries in Istanbul.

International Council of Business Associations and Chambers has been established in Ukraine. Solemn signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on creation of there was solemnly signed at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on April 19, 2017. Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Franco-Ukrainienne, Chinese Commerce Association, German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, International Turkish-Ukrainian Business Association, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and U.S.-Ukraine Business Council decided to unite to improve the business self-governance conditions in Ukraine. British-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce have expressed their intention to join the platform too.

Expanding the market, search of new business partners and investors, conclusion of mutually beneficial agreements – this is not an exhaustive list of benefits that can get the Ukrainian business by participating in Expo 2017. At the meeting in the Ukrainian CCI, which acts as an organizing manager of preparation for the event, representatives of the Ukrainian business learned about conditions of participation Ukrainian companies and about the concept of the Ukrainian pavilion.

The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry aims to help domestic businesses to significantly increase trade with Turkey in the coming years. This was stated by the President of the Chamber Gennadiy Chyzhykov during the Ukrainian-Turkish business forum, held in the framework of the visit of the official State delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman to Turkey.

The Azerbaijani delegation was primarily interested in developing cooperation in pharmaceutical and modern biotechnology spheres, production of various kinds of polymers and plastics and goods from them, and in finding producers of various equipment, including agricultural machinery. Promising areas of cooperation were discussed by business people of both countries during the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Business Forum held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
