The largest national event in the field of renewable energy will last four days, during which four conferences will be held, each dedicated to one type of renewable energy: solar, wind, hydropower, bioenergy and energy in industry and utilities. During these conferences market leaders in alternative energy from Ukraine and other countries, including Poland, Belarus, Austria, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands, will present current and future projects, identify key trends and expectations for the years to come. Also within the event a separate zone devoted to start-up projects using the latest technologies and interesting ideas of Ukrainian inventors in the field of alternative energy will be working.

Volodymyr Groisman, Prime Minister of Ukraine, treats with severe harshness all attempts of state controlling bodies to groundlessly put pressure on the business. During the meeting with the heads of major business associations – the Ukrainian CCI, the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Federation of Employers and the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers - it was decided to improve communication, to hold regular exchanges of views, to actively involve the business community into forming an effective economic policy in the country.

Ukraine is ready to establish effective mechanisms to facilitate intensification of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation with Iran. These issues were discussed at the Ukrainian-Iranian Business Forum, hosted by the Ukrainian CCI with participation of representatives of various sectors of the national economy: engineering industry, agriculture, oil and gas sector, trade and tourism.

On 8-13 May 2017 the 50th Algiers International Fair will be held. The Ambassador of Algeria in Ukraine Hoshino Bussuara personally presented an invitation to the event during a working meeting with the President of the UCCI Gennadiy Chyzhykov.

Through AIESEC global network now it is easy to find an intern to the Ukrainian company from any country in the world. For its part, the Ukrainian CCI will offer its member companies from different regions of Ukraine a list of spheres of possible internships. Professional exchanges and internship opportunities in Ukraine were discussed during the meeting of the UCCI President Gennadiy Chyzhykov with Olena Shershun and Ari Di Fauzan - current and future presidents of the largest international youth organization AIESEC.

In 2016 we passed an important stage in the process of bringing Ukraine closer to the EU in the framework of dialogue and cooperation on issues of internal reforms. Yes, Ukraine has fulfilled all the necessary 144 criteria and is awaiting the EU decision to lift the visa regime for its citizens. For domestic producers the European market of dairy products was opened. It became possible to save 9 bln. UAH of taxpayers’ money through introduction of transparent public procurement system. These issues were discussed at an international conference devoted to evaluation of the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in 2016 and to discussion of future plans for its implementation. Participants comprehensively analyzed the problem areas and formed clear priorities for the future.

Старшокурсники українських вищих навчальних закладів уже втретє одержали можливість пройти стажування на німецьких підприємствах, яке триває від трьох до п'яти місяців. Для проходження практики у 2016 році передбачено не менше 30 місць, на які вже претендують понад 340 кандидатів. Втілення стипендіальної програми стало можливим завдяки зусиллям Європейського офісу, що діє при ТПП України.

З червня 2016 року й до теперішнього часу на виїзді з України в пункті пропуску «Ягодин - Дорогуськ» на кордоні з Польщею спостерігаються великі черги вантажних транспортних засобів. Комітет підприємців сфери транспорту при ТПП України звернувся до прем'єр-міністра України з проханням втрутитися в розв'язання критичної ситуації та дати доручення відповідним міністерствам і відомствам щодо вирішення питання безперешкодного перетину митного кордону транспортними засобами українських та іноземних перевізників.
